Last updated
This notice explains how VoidDot Studio ("we") handles personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. It is available in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Who we are
VoidDot Studio is a software development business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, run by Ahmad Afifuddin. Contact: hello@voiddot.my.
SSM 202603261222 (003895976-K)
What we collect
What you choose to send us by WhatsApp or email, or tell us on a call: your name, phone number, email address, business details, and any files or voice notes. When you pay us, we also keep the payment record, such as the payer's name, amount and bank reference.
This website has no contact form and no analytics or advertising trackers. Our web host keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.
Why we use it
To reply to you, prepare quotes, deliver and support projects, send invoices and receipts, and meet our legal and tax duties. We won't use it for anything else without asking you first.
Sending us your details is voluntary, but without them we can't reply or quote.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business: our email provider, web host, payment gateway, accountant, and WhatsApp (Meta). We never sell your data.
When you tap a WhatsApp link, WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies.
Data stored outside Malaysia
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Malaysia. We choose providers with published privacy and security commitments.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 12 months. Quotes, project and invoice records: 7 years, for tax purposes. After that, we delete it.
Keeping it safe
We take practical steps to protect your data, such as two-factor sign-in on our accounts and limiting who can see it. If a breach affects your data, we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to limit how we use it. Email hello@voiddot.my and we'll respond within 21 days.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, locale, to remember your language, and saves your theme choice in your browser. Neither identifies you.
Language
If the Bahasa Melayu and English versions differ, the English version applies.
